Posted on 11/02/2010 by Mochwara-TeeVee

Flooting Grooves is Pearce Van Der Merwe, born in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been surrounded by music all his life. After having tried various intruments at a young age including violin, piano and french horn he finally settled on the silver flute, heavily influenced by an encounter with Jethro Tull and the green and meaningful.

His first liveset was feb.2005 at Twisted Grooves in Geneva. His style incorporates ambient, downtempo, chill, funk, groovy psytrance and progressive still using live flute at most gigs. He plays at parties in Switzerland and around the globe.
